The Biff Bang Pow Flash Gordon Poll!

Biff Bang Pow! is looking for input from the Mego Community.

If you could choose a head for an 8” Flash Gordon and Ming in the Movie Costume,
would you prefer:

One with the likeness of Sam J Jones and Max Von Sydow ?

A revised version of the Mego Flash Gordon Heads?

Cast your vote and let them know! There will not be any follow up questions answered at this point

man, that is a toughie.

However, I will toss my 2c in for the movie sculpts as it is easier to get ahold of a shrink for a custom if need be.

I voted for the actor likeness but I don't know if that would be too expensive. Well, I guess they're asking, so it's at least in the realm of possibility.

The actor's likeness...that's what makes this type of figure.

I'm going with revised heads. Unless they are making Flash Gordon figures FROM the movie itself like the 6" figures I see no reason to use them on "generic" FG figures.

I voted actor likeness, too, on the assumption that all of the figures are using the costumes from the movie. If the outfits are to that of the comic strip, then revised heads would work out better, I think.

I think the Mego FG line was one of those they nailed dead on. They all have that 50's look like they climbed right out of the radio show. The costumes were perfect too. While the movie was cool in it's own right I look at it the same way I see The Wizard of Oz vs The Wiz. Same story but told in a completely different way. If BBP is asking which we prefer they obviously have the option of doing either version. Personally I say do em both. Side by side two packs would be cool. New Flash Old Flash. Ming...Dale Arden...etc.

BBP solely has the movie license.
