Venture Brothers Card Art: A Sneak Peak

The good folks at BifBangPow! have given the Megomuseum another early look at their packaging, this time for Henchmen 24 and 21 from the hit series "The Venture Brothers"

If you think they pretty true to the show, it's because show creators Doc Hammer and Jackson Publick jointly designed them, you can't get a better pedigree than that!

Each figure will contain a part of the Helper "Build a Figure" , which really does feel like something Rusty Venture would put together.

WOW! Top notch stuff! I've never seen this show but always hear good things about it...The card art makes me think I should reconsider my new "Mego" purchases this year and throw this series into the mix as well! Arrrgggggh! Damn you BBP!

Very cool looking card art! Love the Drinking Straw Helper Collect and Cut Out idea - "Fun and Unreasonably Challenging." Really perfect all around.

I am honestly not a big fan of the purple/pink. I think I'll be OK with it once there's a blister and a figure on the front to tone it down a little. Right now it's just a little too 'mad scientist space Barbie' for me. I love the back.

That is fantastic! I know some people will be annoyed by the cardboard HELPer, but I think it's an awesome extra that fits the show perfectly.

This is awesome! I'll have to get them all just to make Helper.

Oh the exquisite torture!!! You have to not only open the figure, but you also have
to cut up the card to make the straw - AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!!

My only minor complaint is #24 doesn't have the subtitle: "The One Who Sounds Like Ray Ramano".

Seriously, that is suh-weet. I love me some Ventures. I'm stoked!

In our age of High Quality scanners and printers, I'm sure we can have our MIP figures AND Helper as well.

What a brilliant Mego-esque idea on the Build-a-Figure concept!

Perhaps other lines can get in on the fun! Imagine Dexter with a cut out cardboard kill-room, complete with photos of his victim's victims, various implements of torture, etc.

Ok, seriously time to stop this. NOT every mego card Had the faces in circles going on. Time to break the mold, and do something NEW...otherwise my displays will all look like floating bubble headed polka dot dimentia. seriously, look at some of the other artwork, especially Palitoy. Their WGSH cards look way cooler than any us cards. I always liked the Trek aliens cards too...

We should be thankful there isn't a low rider Helper variant.
