    About the book
Star Trek The Original Series 365 is the definitive, authorized guide to Star Trek, Gene Roddenberry’s groundbreaking television program that first aired from 1966 through 1969 and went on to become a cultural phenomenon. A visual celebration of the original voyages of the Starship Enterprise, the book covers the entire series in unprecedented detail, combining in-depth commentary, behind-the-scenes histories, and interviews with writers, cast, and crew, with synopses for each of the series’ 79 episodes.

Without a doubt - the Andorian. It's the whole package - Mego core values, snazzy and well designed outfit, dig those flounced boots, and, oh!, the attitude of contempt that leaps from the sculpt. Sheer Mego awesomeness!

Beaming on board and saying Kirk!
Sculpt is right on. Got that grin that makes you wonder.
Yeah, so common a figure, but hey, who doesn't like to be top dog?

Mr Spock. When I was a kid (like 3ish) I was in the hospital for months with Mennengitus. The only part of the day I was not poked, Prodded or in a bubble, was when Star Trek came on during dinner. I only knew it as "Spock" and asked for "Spock" dolls. needless to say I had like 6 Spocks, and no kirk, Uhura or Scotty. It wasn't until I asked for the yellow and red shirted guys I got more. When I got home it was Christmas, and got the enterprise, and Kirk Uhura and Bones. No scotty, and No Klingon : (.

My pick is Captain Kirk. You cannot go wrong with the Shat. He is one cool dude even under pressure.

                    Hmmmm....

8" McCoy. He was my favourite character on the show, and the figure looks like he could break out in a rant any second. (He'd make a good drinkin' buddy for Gran'pa Walton.)

Dr. McCoy. I always felt the head sculpt captured his personality perfectly.

Spock: He's a hero, an alien, a cultural icon, and a perfect example of Mego's excellent realistic yet toy-like workmanship with license characters.

I'll go with Capt. Kirk. He was one of my very first mego's and I have fond memories drawing huge sideburns on him with a black crayon and pretending he was Elvis.
I'd play my Elvis LP's and pretend it was a consert.
I even had a red haired Action Jackson play bodyguard Red West.
                              I know...it's wierd.
