Another new tutorial- Basic Hand Sewing

Two new tutorials in one week. We must be on a roll!

There is a new basic hand sewing tutorial uploaded to the CustoMego site. Hopefully it will help if you're just getting started.

Custom Spotlight 3/27/07

Once again the Spotlight shines on one of Lou's multi figure TV projects. This time around, Lou captures the characters of one of the most popular shows of the Mego era. Six Million Dollar Man. Mego didn't have the license for this show, so never produced figures, but now Lou has corrected that. His set is very Mego like and the Fembot, Maskatron and Bigfoot are especially cool. Great work Lou!

For more pics of Lou's set, visit the custom forum at the Mego Museum!http://megomuseum.com/cgi-bin/ikonboard/topic.cgi?forum=5&topic=6497&replies=33

New tutorial up at Custom Mego- Vinyl head hair re-rooting

Bryan Bossarts recent Kiss project has given him plenty of experience rooting hair in vinyl heads. Owning some of his work has convinced me that he is indeed an expert.
Bryan contributes a tutorial on the process, now up and posted on the main pages at www.custommego.com

Here's a direct link to the tutorial.

Thanks Bryan! Great stuff!

Custom Spotlight 3/20/07

This week Wrathdemon is on the spotlight with his custom Beast from the X-men. Cat took fur and actually attached it to the body, converting our old pal Hulk into the fun loving Beast. Nice job Cat!

Custom Spotlight 3/13/07

This week, the Spotlight hits something I'm always a personal sucker for, a group project!

Scott Greer put this project together with some help from some friends. Scott has managed to perfectly re-create Captain Action in Mego scale. Nice job Scott and all else involved!
