Mego Thor, the first action figure of the god of thunder

Mego THOR

 

The Mighty Mego Thor was among the first heroes to be issued on the new Type II bodies in 1974. He and Conan and the Fantastic Four share the distinction of never having been sold on the old body types.

Mego Thor also got the deluxe treatment. Vac-metallized helmet is attached to a small hole in his head with a post inside the helmet. His very cool boots are yellow rubber. His hammer Mjolnir is an often missing accessory.

Thanks to the big helmet he stands rather tall and Godlike amongst the mortals.
