The page from the 1981 JC Penney Catalog is a far cry from the 1980 JC Penney Catalog, Mego's precense has diminished to sharing two pages with other lines. The World's Greatest Superheroes are nowhere to be found and the Pocket Superheroes are limited to these vehicle and figure offerings (and seem somewhat dwarfed by Remco's Universal Monster Line). What's interesting to note with the Batmobile and Spidercar is that they are being offered with three figures instead of the standard two. Was there another packaging variant collectors don't know about? Time will tell.
