The Mego Planet of the Apes line had strong representation in the 1975 JC Penney catalog, which would turn out to be it's last year thanks to the cancellation of the TV series. Still they sold millions in a couple of years. It seems odd that JC Penney would exclude TV characters such as Verdon, Burke and General Urko but add Galen, which is just Cornelius repackaged.
