This theory was more or less confirmed by Mego VP of R&amp;D Neal Kublan who said that Mego wouldn&#8217;t have intentionally made a Frankenstein figure that had a flat top. The Blue coloring was a quick fix to differentiate the character into they could change the sculpt to the <a href=\"mmfrankenstein.html\"> regular Mego Frankenstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><!--ANCHOR TAG --><\/p>\n<div class=\"subpad\"><a id=\"red\" name=\"red\"><\/a><\/div>\n<div id=\"subheadbox\">\n<div class=\"subhead\">Blue Haired Frankenstein<\/div>\n<div class=\"topbox\"><a href=\"#top\">Return to Top<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><br clear=\"all\" \/><br \/>\n<!-- SECTION ENDS HERE --><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/megomuseum.com\/legend\/monsters\/bluemegofrankenstein.jpg\" alt=\"Mego Mad MonstersBlue Haired Frankenstein Doll\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Blue Haired Frankenstein is believed to be a quick fix on the part of Mego to correct any similiarities to the Universal Frankenstein make up, a similiar fix was done for <a href=\"mmdracula.html\">Mad Monsters Dracula <\/a> as well. There are not many known examples of blue haired Frankenstein in the world (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/legend\/accessory\/frank.html#heads\">Watch out for the recent reproduction figures<\/a>) so the run time must have been limited on these figures.
