One would have expected Mego to create<br \/>\n              a series of fashion dolls based on the female leads, instead they<br \/>\n              chose a 3&quot; line similiar to the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/heroes\/index.shtml\"><br \/>\n              Pocket Superheroes<\/a>. <\/p>\n<p>The figures were sold on blister cards which were often placed<br \/>\n              in the boys section in stores in my town.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/stubingmoc.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" \/><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/vickimoc.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/love_boatplayset.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" alt=\"Mego Love Boat Playset\" \/><\/p>\n<p> The Loveboat playset does exist, it was released in Canada by<br \/>\n              Grand Toys. As you can see it&#8217;s a huge piece of styrene like the<br \/>\n              <a href=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/heroes\/ph.shtml\"> Pocket Heroes<br \/>\n              Batcave<\/a> or the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/zzzoldfiles\/trek\/mtrek.shtml\"><br \/>\n              Star Trek the Motion Picture Enterprise Playset<\/a> <\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/lbback.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Card backer courtesy of Troy, note that it uses simple one colour<br \/>\n              line artwork, a cost cutting measure.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/love_boat1.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" alt=\"MEgo Grand Toys Love Boat Set\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Above and below is a set of Canadian (Grand Toys) cards, which<br \/>\n              are smaller than the US cards.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.megomuseum.com\/teevee\/images\/love_boat2.jpg\"  align=\"bottom\" naturalsizeflag=\"3\" alt=\"Grand Toys Love Boat set, Note that Isaac is called Le Barman in French\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Grand Toys was able to market the Love Boat Playset because they<br \/>\n              sent Senior executive Charles Marshall to Hong Kong to restart the<br \/>\n              Lion Rock Manufacturing after Mego had gone under.
