Of all\u00a0the companies that sold TV figures and Playsets during the era,\u00a0none did a better job than Mego.<\/p>\n<p>Compare the &#8220;Welcome Back Kotter&#8221; or &#8220;Charlie&#8217;s Angels&#8221; lines\u00a0from Mattell to the Happy Days or Starsky and Hutch offerings from Mego.\u00a0For that matter, compare their Space 1999 line to Mego\/Palitoy&#8217;s!<br \/>\nNo contest. <\/p>\n<p>Some of the best TV product was produced overseas. Mego, through\u00a0it&#8217;s subsidiaries such as Palioy, Denis Fisher and others, secured\u00a0rights and manufactured toys in overseas markets.
