This is Scott and his Dida, John Moore, who died in 2000, and to whom this page is dedicated.

"I called him Dida (dee-Dah) because I called him Daddy when my father was off at war and they had to change it to something else when Dad got back. Dida took me to Montgomery Wards one Sunday afternoon and I talked him into buying me Mego Superman, Batman, Robin, Joker, and Aquaman.It was a very big day for me and I'll never forget it. My Dida and I had some great times through the years and I was very happy to have found this picture."

In the same living room as at my grandparent's house I had my big birthday party in 1976. Presents included the Mego Batcave and Batcycle! The orange tab that closed the cave entrance was broken that afternoon when Chris Gallagher, the little red-headed kid who is disrobing Superman rammed the Batmobile through it. The kid with the Mego Spock and Superman is Jason Miller. Jason had every Star Wars toy ever made and we all hated him for it. One of my great triumphs in life was the time I bloodied Jason's nose cuz he called me a "Tomato Face".
