Long before the days of digital files and Photoshop,
when Graphic Design was something of a science, designers would often
use Reproduction art for trade advertising in newspapers and magazines.
Easily reproduced by the simplest of print media, this simple black
and white art was a staple of advertising in newspaper sales circulars
and the like. These bound books of art would be sent by Mego to their
distributors for use in their advertising campaigns.
Thanks to Mike Jimenez and Rob Chatlin's repro art book
collections, we have an amazing perspective on an important piece of
Mego history.
