An awesome new addition to our library of Mego Corp-related Toy ads is this beautiful piece from the July 26, 1973 issue of the NY Daily News. A chain called “Stevens” which appears to have 6 locations is offering fifty cents off the “Super Heros Action Figures” by Mego making them an easy to afford $1.66 each.
$1.66 is pretty fantastic for Mego Solid Box World’s Greatest Superheroes figures. It is also worth nothing that both Batman and Robin have removable masks. Oh for a time machine and $100….
