A pull-back action toy, the race car is one of the most difficult Action Jackson items to find. The packaging is a later edition photo box and it's likely believed that the Race Car was released in limited numbers as AJ's sales started to wane. Almost anything from this period (such as the bubble carded uniforms) are difficult to obtain on the secondary market. Note the unique blue and silver helmet the driver is using on the package..
AJ appears to be wearing a variation of the Dinah-Mite "Racing Around" uniform on this side of the package

Another comparision, see below for more shots of the BP racer.
This is the Australian BP variant of the Action Jackson Race Car, it's the only one known of it's kind and is courtesy of Scott Arendsen, all photographs are by Tom Ligotti.
This item was likely distributed by TolToys, who also altered the VW Van for the Australian market.
It's not known if this was some sort of a premium that tied into British Petrolium stations or merely a change to make the item more authentic to the Australian market.
The Mego logo is prominently featured meaning the product is likely legitimate. No packaging has ever been unearthed, hopefully someday.
