Vintage Toy Industry Mego Wonder Woman Lynda Carter Advertisement from 1977-From the Mego Museum Ad Archives
Wonder Woman switched to CBS in the fall of 1977, and Mego was ready with a range of 12″ figures that were mainly comic-inspired. The box for the initial Wonder Woman launch featured Lynda Carter, even though Mego had hired Carter for a toy fair presentation film (which is sadly lost); Mego didn’t actually have the rights to use her likeness. Later Wonder Woman figures would remove Carter from the packaging.
