Another beautiful glimpse into something that was planned but never made it to the market. Last month we showcased the Star Trek Mr. Spock Sip N’ See straw that was planned for 1979 but it was only one part of a grand launch, here are the rest of the licenses Mego planned to introduce that year.
Mego planned to jump on the Mork and Mindy bandwagon with this line. Interesting considering Mattel got the action figure rights.
Mego famously added Casper to their line of Elastic Heroes that same year, so it seems they were trying to expand on the brand by adding him to this line as well.
Finally Vincent from the Black Hole, not really a suprise considering all the merchandise they were planning for this film.
What is surprising is the lack of a Superhero Sip “N” See, perhaps there were issues with the rights?
