In their latest live stream, Mego Corp. revealed some upcoming Star Trek TOS figures in the form of the Andorian and the Talosion. Both characters were released in the original Mego Star Trek Aliens line.
However, Mego is not releasing copies of the originals but updating the designs to be more series accurate. This means, no yellow clown outfit for Talos this time.
The Mego Andorian is based on the classic Trek episode “Journey to Babel,” as was the original Mego Star Trek Aliens version. The major difference is, this one is based on actor Reggie Nalder (“Salem’s Lot”) and not William O’Connell. O’Connell was playing an Orion spy and not an actual Andorian.
The Talosians are from the Trek pilot “The Cage” and the two part “The Menagerie” but as stated about is way more faithful this time. It is believed this will be on a smaller body as well.
