General Urko "Autograph" created for Mego Mall Appearances.
This rare bit of Mego history was submitted to us by Mike who is auctioning off some incredible classic Ape toys on Ebay right now.
These were created by Mego as promotional materials given out at store appearances where an actor in Planet of the Apes regalia would visit.
General Urko, despite his hatred for humans, would happily give children an autographed head shot. What’s best about this is the stage hand in 20th century clothes directly behind him.
