Best Accessories for 2011
This year you voted Zica’s Buck Rogers line to have the best goodies followed by the Real Ghostbusters and Bif Bang Pow’s Doctor Who following in third.
Best Villain for 2011
Speaking of Star Trek, the Salt Vampire was your choice for best baddie this year followed by the DCU’s top hunger dog Darkseid, in third place was the really neat Phantom Limb by Bif Bang Pow!.
Best likeness was a tough call but EMCE/Diamond Select’s Boris Karloff as the Mummy won out, creeping in at a close second was ZICA’s Buck Rogers and rounding out is Bif Bang Pow’s Henry Bemis from Twilight Zone.
Best Horror Line for 2011
The winner by a mile were the EMCE Toys/ Diamond Select Universal Monsters and in a tie for second was EMCE’s “Create your own Zombie” kit followed by Heroes in Action’s wonderful Presidential Monsters.
Retro Action Super Heroes took best packaging this year but in a tie for second was the window boxed goodness of ZICA Buck Rogers and BBP Twilight Zone.
Best Sci Fi ReMego line for 2011
A fiercely fought battle for #1 but the resounding message of this was ” Yes, we would care for a Jelly Baby” with Bif Bang Pow’s Doctor Who line being your first pick for 2011, narrowly at number 2 is ZICA’s amazing Buck Rogers line and just below that the Twilight Zone by Bif Bang Pow.
Best Hero 2011, you people are too nice, #1 was SuperCollector! Followed up by Doctor Who and Buck Rogers. Only at the Museum would that happen.
Best ReMego line for 2011
With 31% of the vote, Retro Action Heroes shows that we love capes at the Mego Museum. Coming in at a close second, we’ve got the EMCE/Diamond Select Universal Monsters and third was Bif Bang Pow’s wonderful Twilight Zone. It’s amazing that Star Trek didn’t place this year, next year may be a different story….
It was Steve Austin by a big bionic leap this year, with a large majority of votes. Cast-A-Way toys followed with their upcoming Buster Crabbe as Flash Gordon and bringing up the rear is Jean Luc Picard from an obscure series called “Star Trak”.
Not to be outdone by Steve’s popularity, Bigfoot also captured your hearts with a large majority of votes, followed closely by the Borg from “Star Trak” and Doctor Who nemesis Sutekh in third.
You people like Bionics! Six Million Dollar Man from Bif Bang Pow is clearly your #1 want for 2012, followed by Battlestar Galactica and then by fan favourite the Twilight Zone.
