“When it rains, it pours” department: Not long after we revealed the discovery of the Elastic Heroes head molds that a third has surfaced and under the roof of the Mego Museum. Richard aka “TheBatmanProfessor” at the Mego forum has sent in photos of the Batman Elastic Heroes head mold.

According to Richard, he purchased the item from ToyShop magazine twenty years ago for $20 but didn’t know what figure it belonged to.

Thanks to Richard for sharing this amazing item and it gives hope that Hulk, Plastic Man, Casper and Mickey are still out there.

I am on the board of directors at the Hall of Heroes Superhero Museum located in Elkhart, Indiana. One of the pieces we have on display is the Ben Cooper mask molds used for the Green Lantern, Plastic Man and Mister Fantastic masks. It was also purchased from ToyShop magazine around 1995/96.
