In February of 2010, Diamond Select in conjunction with EMCE toys announced 8" "retro cloth" figures based on the classic Universal Monster Horror characters. Correcting what many collectors view as one of Mego's bigger mistakes in terms of licensing. Four characters were announced for Fall 2010, they include Dracula, Frankenstein, the Mummy and Wolfman and have highly detailed outfits and new head sculpts. One can only hope this line expands into several waves, leaving 70s monster kids with a plenty of 8" ghouls.

For Toyfair 2012, Diamond announced the Fall selection this year would be the Bride of Frankenstein and the Creature from the Black Lagoon.
