The Mego Incredible Hulk debuted with palitoy in 1979
Palitoy:Bradgate was Mego’s most prolific distributor partner in the United Kingdom. Not only did they carry such popular lines such the World’s Greatest Superheroes, Star Trek and Planet of the Apes (giving them all their own packaging touch) but created their own brands with Mego such as Zorro, Space:1999 and Battle Brigade.
1979 saw a marked decline in Mego product, some of which had gone to Palitoy subsideries such as Burbank Toys and Denys Fisher. Despite the decline in characters, Palitoy did add the Incredible Hulk to the roster which was undeniably due to the popularity of the television series.
The Superheroes would enjoy their final year with Palitoy and in 1980 distribution of the World’s Greatest Superheroes would go to UK Rival Pedigree Toys.
