Palitoy:Bradgate was Mego’s most prolific distributor partner in the United Kingdom. Not only did they carry such popular lines such the World’s Greatest Superheroes, Star Trek and Planet of the Apes (giving them all their own packaging touch) but created their own brands with Mego such as Zorro, Space:1999 and Battle Brigade.
1978 saw the inclusion of the Starsky and Hutch, Aliens added to the popular Star Trek Line and the creation of Zorro, a Disney licensed property not sold outside of the United Kingdom. The Superheroes continued to sell however the Fist Fighting Heroes were no longer available. The Battle Brigade was Palitoy’s unique take on the Lion Rock WW2 figures sold all over the world.
