The fate of the ever expanding Roster of WGSH Heroes was truly in the buyer's hands in 1976. Neal Kublan mentions that prototypes of several characters such as Doctor Doom and the Flash were explored but "They got no reaction from the trade" he adds "The Marvel characters had not taken off at that time".
It was still a good year for the Marvel fan, not only did you get the Fantastic Four but Thor and Conan.
