Mego of the Day is the incredibly elusive, foreign exclusive figure from the 1980 Walt Disney film "The Black Hole". A background group of characters, the humanoid is of particular interest to collectors due to figure only being sold in Canada and Italy.

Mark Schmidt sent in photos of this rare item, a bilingual boxed Spider-Car from Parkdale Novelty. Previously it was believed all Parkdale did was sticker the US packaging, it seems that they also did a run of their own box. Thanks to Mark for sharing this northern rarity.

Today's Mego of the Day is master Showman and American Legend Buffalo Bill. If you haven't taken a good look at this figures, I assure you, do it now! They're well made, low priced and a lot of fun to collect.

He never got an eight inch figure but Patriarch of the Duke Clan, Uncle Jesse did sneak into the 3 3/4" Dukes series. The Dukes were popular enough to warrant a second wave.

That's right, Mego of the Day is unproduced series of figures based on the television series "Dallas" if you look closely you can see that the Ewings were simply kitbashed from other toylines including Star Wars and Indiana Jones! I smell custom fodder.....
